Scope: This project consisted of providing a secondary containment underneath 7 Jet fuel tanks and 3 geodesic domes at the Miami International Airport Fuel Storage Facility. The major components of construction for this project were the following:
Pneumatically lift and crib tanks with enough elevation to excavate 2 feet under tank for secondary containment
Replace 3 galvanic roof with New Geodesic Domes
Repair and replace Tank Wall to meet API code requirements.
Install new leak detection system under each tank.
