Scope: This project consisted of constructing two State of the Art fueling facilities capable of simultaneous pumping approximately 11,000 GPM for the Miami International Airport. The major components of construction for this project were the following:
Site preparation including new infrastructure
Construction of an underground double wall carbon steel piping suction (supply) system to feed the new pump station.
Construction of an underground double wall carbon steel piping discharge system including ten new 200 HP 1,200 GPM API model 3700 electrical centrifugal pumps to supply fuel to the airside hydrant locations.
Construction of 16 new CBS buildings to house the new pumps, filtration systems, and electrical components.
