We have integrated safety as a key responsibility at all levels of management and supervision throughout the organization. Prioritizing Safety at All Levels of the Project
A staple to our safety program is our preparation efforts for our employees. All first-line supervisors have completed the OSHA 10-hour course and have yearly FRA training. Our operators have completed compliance courses for their respective pieces of equipment and carry certification cards. Additionally, we offer training in excavation, scaffolding, confined spaces, fall protection, and we also lead an asbestos awareness course.
At the beginning of each day, a tool-box meeting takes place on each project to discuss all safety-related issues pertaining to the day's activities. All personnel is tested prior to their employment and randomly tested every quarter for drug and alcohol use. We have been certified as a Drug-Free Workplace through the U.S Department of Transportation and Pipeline Testing Consortium. Our safety program has been designed and approved by NCMS.
