All Aboard Florida Phase I (Miami-WPB)

Location: Miami to West Palm Beach - FL
Scope: This project consisted of the track construction and rehabilitation for the new passenger train system from (MIA-WPB) Phase I. The project also included: Demolition, removal, earthwork/roadbed, track, drainage, asphalt pavement, and concrete work of all Grade Crossings within 67 miles (more than 150 crossings).
North Hialeah Yard Track
Owner: Florida East Coast Railway
Location: FECR Hialeah FL Auto Yard
Scope: Project to include design and construction of three 4116 -track feet of working track, two crossings, and 5 turnouts; the design and construction of a site layout that provides maximum operational efficiency for the loading/unloading system of autos on to rail cars.
Port of Palm Beach – Spur Track Construction
Owner: Port of Palm Beach
Location: West Palm Beach
Scope: Project consisted of demolition of existing site paving and rail track and ties and replacement with the new track and ties, the project also includes the addition of new track and switches, site railroad crossing, pavement lighting, pavement striping, and of course all the safety measures to comply with port’s policies.
Northwood Phase 2
Owner: FECR
Location: West Palm Beach - FL
Scope: Project consisted of the construction of a new track connection (The “New Northwood Connection”) between the FECR Corridor and the South Florida Rail Corridor (SFRC). The civil contract included: Track work, roadway modifications, grade crossing surface work, crossing warning devices, utilities, drainage landscaping, traffic signal elements, and involved a Diamond Interlocking.
FECR Bowden Yard
Owner: Florida East Coast Railway
Location: Bowden Yard, Jacksonville, FL
Scope: The project included design and construction for the track shifting of 700 track shifts and the extension of 3200LF of crane runways and associated asphalt.
Brightline AAF Phase 2
Owner: HSR Constructors / All Aboard Florida / Brightline
Location: Phase 2 – Track upgrades from West Palm Beach to Coco, FL
Scope: The project includes the reconstruction of 156-grade crossings and 120 miles of the concrete tie construction.
Gantry Rail Refurbishment Phase 2 & 3
Owner: Port of Miami Crane Management, Inc.
Location: Port of Miami, Miami, FL
Scope: This project consisted of Demolition, Remove, Replacement and Refurbishment of 4,901 linear feet of Gantry Crane Rail and appurtenances. In addition, G&S installed 80 thermite welds to 171lb crane rail joints, applied a Protective Coating to rail an completed other specific tasks.
